Consulter la cote et le prix de African Dogon Wooden House Post Votive

Description : West Africa, Mali and Burkina Faso, Dogon Peoples, ca. 19th century CE. A fine old example of a toguna post. The toguna is the building in which men's assemblies and council meetings are held - the name means great shelter. Based on the kile wood and patina, this is likely very old for this type of artifact. Comes with custom stand. All items legal to buy/sell under U.S. Statute covering cultural patrimony Code 2600, CHAPTER 14, and are guaranteed to be as described or your money back.
