Padihor's name is preceded by the word Osiris, meaning that he was deceased at the time the statue was carved. The inscription on the belt records an additional title of Padihor: Month-priest of Amun-Re, beautiful of plans. Inscribed belts on Egyptian statues were a royal prerogative until the rare instances occuring in the 25th and 26th Dynasties.Sotheby's, subastador, New York, US
