A fine Dan passport mask presenting an expressive visage, hand-carved from finely grained wood exhibiting hues of burnt ochre, chocolate, caramel, earthenware, and espresso. The intriguing vizard presents with a pair of enormous circular eyes flanking a conical nose, thick lips that are slightly parted in the center, flush cheeks, and a bulging brow. The temples and peripheries of the mask bear several petite perforations meant for attaching a larger costume. Nice patina envelops the surfaces of the mask.
