Beschreibung : Egyptian, Second Intermediate Period to Late Dynastic Period, 14th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 1725 to 332 BCE. This is a fine collection of 3 faience and stone beads and amulets from ancient Egypt. The first a dark faience bead with a long barrel shape, decorated with rows of knobs, and pierced all the way through for suspension. The light brownstone steatite button has an engraved seal face with a bird and winged disc motif, surrounded by four neb signs. The domed top has a rosette motif and radiating petals. The last is a pale brown stone amulet in the form of the Sacred Eye, also known as wadjet (also wedjat, Eye of Horus).
