Note : Karin Preller completed a BA Fine Art with Distinction at Unisa and an MA Fine Art at the University of the Witwatersrand and is currently completing a PhD in Art at the University of Johannesburg. Solo exhibitions include: Family Album at ABSA gallery (2001); Snapshots at Gordart Gallery (2007); Aperture at Fried Contemporary (2008); Stills at Artspace (2009); City and Suburban at the Standard Bank Gallery (2010); Just above the mantelpiece at Artspace (2013); Stilled lives at Lizamore and Associates (2015); Almost no memory at Lizamore and Associates (2020) and Beyond memory at the 2022 KKNK, for which she won the KANNA award for best contribution in visual art. Preller's work is included in a number of public collections: The Johannesburg Art Gallery, Sasol, ABSA, Unisa, Oliewenhuys Art Museum, The Pretoria Art Museum, The Public Protector, ATKV and Standard Bank.
