Note : Walter Battiss, otherwise known as King Ferd 111, invited Norman Catherine to join the eclectic imaginary world of Fook Island in 1973. Catherine, otherwise known as Norman King Norman, created many Fookians and Fook animals on the island, many of which his wife Janet Walker-Catherine embroidered. The island was a treasure trove of creativity as artists such as Ramsay MacKay invented an elaborate Fook cuisine, as the title of this exhibition would allude to; Stuffed Moonwhite Trout in Twilight Sauce. Linda Givon (Goodman) was named Queen Linda the Only and Queen Asteroa, the poet Walter Saunders was the Fook linguist, well-known art historian, Esmé Berman had the title of the official Fook historian.
