Condition_report : The canvas is loose on the wooden support and is slightly undulating. There is minor surface dirt throughout, and spots of discoloured varnish across the upper branches of the leafless tree on the left. There is a vertical line of abrasion running down the left hand margin of the canvas. In the lower right right quarter of the canvas there is a semicircular scratch approximately 5cm in length, and a small circular area of paint loss just below. There are a few flecks of white paint across the central portion of the canvas. The appearance of the painting would be greatly improved by a light clean and sensitive restoration.
