Note : ABOUT THE WORK About the work, You see me, the artist commented, “The subject of this portrait is an art collector who graciously sat for the work in February 2020. The sitting took place in my studio located in Pretoria, and the inspiration for this portrait came from the subject's previous experience witnessing another sitting that I had conducted earlier.
