Descrizione : SADF - Border War, Collection of posters originating from Sector 20, Various, Posters that were familiar to South African soldiers serving on the SWA/Angola border during the 1980's. Some are dated 1982 and 1983. 4 of the posters have the troop in colour and are 27cm x 42cm in size. The remaining 6 items are all in black and white and range from A4 size upwards. The best item in this lot is the poster on the L.H.S. of the Extra Image: It has photographic portraits of the heads of 25 terrorists that were killed by the SADF. 10 of them are named. The text is in Afrikaans and taunts the SWAPO Special Unit that made a desperate attempt to drive us out of SWA. The gruesome nature of this poster has probably ensured its rarity.CONDITION DETAILS: The best item, with the terrorists' dead faces, is a little age toned and has a few light soil marks.
