Differential taxation is not possible These piles are used as fetishes, which protect a village, house or fetish house. They are often tucked outdoors in the ground under a small thatched-roof. They fulfill a protective function and to prevent evil spirits from entering. Pole figures are the embodiment of spiritual beings. Their force, to fulfill certain orders, was activated by victims. They denied evil spirits the access to the house and protected the village. The figure is in good condition with minimal signs of age and wear. It has a cracked dry patina and weather damage can be seen. The lower part has stuck into the earth. The pole figure is 50 cm high. (asi) Literature: S. M.
