Descrizione : Details: These antique or vintage hand-made javelins or short assegais were part of a collection of folk art and artifacts assembled by a teacher who traveled in east Africa in the 1950s and 1960s. Each is about 35 long, with iron blades about 10 in length. The wooden shafts have been wrapped in cowhide.
