It is fascinating to compare the workmanship of our Neanderthal ancestors with that of the much later Neolithic point-maker, although obviously cruder, these specimens nonetheless exhibit care, skill, and artistry in their knapping of a variety of forms in various materials, ranging in size from 1 to 2 3/8 inches in length, presented in a 12 1/4 x 16 1/4 inch Riker mount.
