Original reddish brown colored binding with flame and series title in black and gold embossed lettering of the major title. One photograph plate facing the title page consisting of a Monument of a Hittite king, accompanied by an inscription in Hittite hieroglyphics, discovered on the site of Carchemish and now in the British Museum. At the end of the book, six pages of appendix, four of which provide the detailed text of the Treaty between the Hittites and Ramses II from a translation. Interesting. Very good condition.
