Notes : COLLECTOR'S NOTE • A major retrospective exhibition of Dr Mahlangu’s work is planned at the Iziko South African National Gallery before it begins an extended tour of global museums in 2024. • Dr Mahlangu recently held a solo exhibition in London at Almine Rech Gallery from 20 April to 20 May 2023 and at Almine Rech, Paris from 15 April to 3 June 2023. COLLECTIONS The artist is represented in numerous local and international collections, notably, the Jean Pigozzi Collection, Paris; Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, Washington D.C.; British Museum, London; Museum of Arts and Design, New York and the Standard Bank Gallery, Johannesburg.
Condition_report : The overall condition is good. Minor paint lose in areas, especially along the edges. Minor craquelure in areas. Minor surface dirt.
