Description : Zoomorphic mask Toma, Liberia heavy wood, dark encrusted patina, cowrie snails, fabric, mirror glass, of oval form, crowned by a pair of big horns, a bulging facial plane, coated with encrusted fabric and decorated with cowrie snails and metal chains, a small nose and a mouth inset with mirror glass below, min. dam., cracks, signs of abrasion, on base, these rare masks were used by the members of the poro society.
