Medium : Carved at the top with two facing jackals of Anubis seated on raised platforms above two rows of text, a figural scene below with the deceased on the left behind a table of offerings, facing a standing figure of a man called 'Userhat' offering a duck, a woman called 'Merthor-Sherit' standing behind, with her right arm raised, the offering text continuing below to, 'Horus of Edfu on behalf of the deceased also called Userhat, who was a brewer of the shuyt-drink', Notes : Provenance:From Edfu, discovered in 1932. Sold at Christie's London on 2 December, 1969, lot 128. Acquired by the current owner in London in the mid 1970s.Published:M.
