Object is regular taxed. 19% VAT is added to the purchase price for deliveries within the EU. The eyes of the red-colored mask are edged with pieces of sheet metal. The crusty patina supports the expressive power of the mask, which is wearing hair in the sharp beak. The mask symbolizes a Calao (hornbill) and occurs for entertainment. The dancer tells the story of Calao, considered the bringer of culture at the Dan. This mask comes from the Dan-Touba from the northern region.
The beak mask is in very good condition with minimal signs of age and wear. The lengths are: 25 cm (length wood), 46 cm (length?), 32 (length). (asi)
