Fascinating Dan mask of the Gunye Ge type, with round eyes, a wide forehead, a well-proportioned nose and mouth in the purest Dan style, characterised by a diffuse and crusty patina that gives it a particularly expressive appearance. She is also very beautiful in profile with the multiple holes drilled in different eras to fix the raffia or fabric cap that allowed her to be worn. Finally, the back conveys beauty and evidence of the skilled and laborious work done by the sculptor in the complex embroidery left by the chisel and made shiny by wear and time..
