The face of the male figure is tattooed, the head bears a serrated comb-like hairstyle. The depiction of riders expresses clan status, prestige and power in many African clans, as well as in the Bambara. The figure is in good condition with minimal signs of age and wear. Weather-related cracks in the wood, especially at the base, the neck part of the horse and the rider's head, can be seen. The dimensions are 66 x 95cm (length x height). (asi)Literature: E.
