Details: This lot consists of the antique engravings shown in the corresponding images.
These hand-colored engravings are from Giovanni Battista Belzoni's Narrative of the Operations and Recent Discoveries Within the Pyramids, Temples, Tombs, and Excavations, in Egypt and Nubia (first published in 1822). The first leaf contains two images, Ruins of a Wall Near the Temple at Offedina, Nubia and Arabic Dance. The second piece is entitled Temple on the Road to Berenice on the Red Sea.

These engravings are from the holdings of Archaeologia Books and Prints. Established in 1983, Archaeologia was known for providing scholarly books of quality on the archaeology of Ancient Egypt, the Near East, Greece & Rome, and the Pre-Columbian Americas. Condition / Notes: These engravings, each measuring approximately 22 1/2 x 18 3/4, are largely well preserved, with toning most significant at the edges.
