Condition_report : In good overall condition with minor wear consistent with the artist's chosen industrial materials and fabrication process. The metal surface exhibits light oxidation and discoloration, particularly around the outer edge and near the saw teeth, which appear superficial and inherent to the untreated or partially treated steel. Light surface scratches and handling marks are visible under raking light, especially in the upper left quadrant, but do not detract from the visual integrity of the work. The laser-cut Arabic calligraphic forms remain sharply defined, with no burrs, cracks, or distortions, and the central perforation is clean and structurally sound. The saw blade is flat, stable, and free from warping, with all teeth intact and showing only minor oxidation typical of the material. No evidence of restoration, repair, or later intervention is visible. Overall, the piece retains its intended industrial aesthetic, with surface irregularities and patination variations likely integral to the artist's concept. It is recommended that the artwork be handled with gloves to prevent transfer of oils or acids to the surface, and displayed in a controlled environment with low humidity to minimize further oxidation. Cleaning should be limited to gentle dusting with a dry microfiber cloth, avoiding abrasive or chemical agents. The work is in good, stable condition, requiring no immediate conservation treatment, and the minor surface variations present are consistent with both age and artistic intent.
