Acquired from the above by Mrs. William Merrill Prindle (1864-1963), Duluth, Minnesota and Pasadena, California, thence by descent. Sotheby's, New York, Antiquities, 15 December 2016, Lot 5. (The headrest is referred to in a letter from Nicholas Tano to Mrs. Prindle dated 14 April 1922)
