Notes : Mohau Modisakeng’s recent awards include: Standard Bank Young Artist Award for Visual Arts, 2016. His work represented South Africa as half of a two-person exhibition at the 57th Venice Biennale in 2017, and is included in the permanent collections of the Johannesburg Art Gallery, Iziko South African National Gallery, Cape Town and Zeitz MOCCA. Modisakeng’s work has been exhibited at: PEREFORMA 17, New York; Dak’Art Biennale, Dakar; Iziko South African National Gallery and Zeitz MOCCA.
