Description : Egypt, Late Dynastic Period, 26th to 31st Dynasty, ca. 664 to 332 BCE. A lovely gathering of 3 powerful protective amulets known as wadjet (also wedjat, Eye of Horus). First is a faience wadjet covered with spring green glaze. Second is a black and white speckled granite wadjet with a convex form. The largest wadjet is carved from opaque, dark red jasper and has an unperforated suspension tube on top.
