Description : Egypt, 1st - 2nd Century CE. A set of two Egyptian poppy seed head pendants, neatly carved in bone. Striated bottom, hole for suspension at the joint to the stem. 1.5 &1.65cm H. Egypt, Coptic, 5th - 6th century CE. A pair of Coptic bone pendants in the shape of male busts. The heads with cursorily carved features, loops for suspension at top. 2.3 & 2.4cm H. Provenance: Swiss art market, Schuler Auktionen Zurich, September 2006 sale. All items in this auction have been legally acquired, are legal to sell, and guaranteed to be as described or your money back.
