Description : Egypt, 1st - 2nd Century CE. A set of two Egyptian poppy seed head pendants, neatly carved in bone. Striated bottom, hole for suspension at the joint to the stem. 1.5 &1.65cm H. Egypt, Coptic, 5th - 6th century CE. A pair of Coptic bone pendants in the shape of male busts. The heads with cursorily carved features, loops for suspension at top. 2.3 & 2.4cm H. Provenance: Swiss art market, Schuler Auktionen Zurich, September 2006 sale.
