Title : Two Egyptian white glazed faience shabtis for Neb-Neheh and Mehy-Kha 2
Provenance : Provenance: Bodo Bleß (1940-2022) collection, Berlin, formed from ca. 1960 onwards. The larger shabti (for Neb-Neheh): with Charles Ede Ltd., London (C. Ede, Collecting Antiquities, An Introductory Guide, 1974, p. 95, no. 253). The larger shabti with the epithets for Osiris Neb-Neheh and Heka-Tjet, in this instance the first appears to be the name of the deceased. He wears a distinct long lappet wig and more unusually at the back the basket lies diagonally below the yoke with two water pots.
