The set includes seven bamboo arrows in varying lengths, four different hardwood tips, three different African spearheads made of bronze and iron, a bow and a ring. The ring, the bow and arrows came from Samoa. The tips of the spears are partially wrapped with bamboo and the bow has tapered ends. The bronze ring belongs to the last chief of Samoa and is decorated on the front side with a total of six knobs. The photo from the time 1901/02 shows the crew of the S. M. S Stein and is inscribed by hand.The set is in age-related condition. Partial loss of wood at the arrowheads and the shaft ends are visible and the bronze ring is slightly corroded in places.
