This is the rating and price for Three Anch Ushabtis

Description : Fired clay painted in white Egypt, Third Intermediate Period, 22nd to 23rd Dynasty Three ushabtis, one of them displaying partially preserved Anch-symbol Dimensions: max. 7.6 x 2.5 x 1.4 cm(height x width x depth) Provenance: Private Collection Bruno Wertz Scientific research: Dr. Jan Moje, Free University of Berlin (see references below) These three figures originate from ancient Egypt and have been crafted in the Third Intermediate Period, the 22 υ nd to the 23 υ rd Dynasty (946/945-714/712 BCE). The three ushabtis are of typical mummy form and they are all grounded in white colour. They are wearing wigs with three long, hanging cloths. The ends of the cloths are of curved form. The arms are crossed in front of the breasts with their thumbs visible. They used to hold crosiers but they have largely weathered. It can be assumed that all three figures are cast from the same form, as for example the common elevated thumbs and the curves of the ears certify. There are residues of black eye painting visibleon two of the ushabtis. The ushabti in the centre on the picture carries remains of black writing that most possibly subsequently belonged to the name 'Anch'. This is why it can be concluded that all three ushabtis previously held the Anch-symbol, the Egyptian cross symbolising bodily life and survival in the afterlife. The three ushabtis are in fair condition with normal traces. Faces and details like fingers are almost entirely weathered. The crosiers and the inscriptions have abraded almost entirely. One side of the base of the first ushabti displays heavy abrasion. The ushabti on the left shows the moulding of the clay texture with cracks in the central front and the upper back. Two of the ushabtis are installed on modern Plexiglas plinths. The dimensions of the clay figures are 7.1 x 2.5 x 1.4 cm, 7.6 x 2.3 x 1.3 cm,and 7.6 x 2.3 x 1.3 cm (height x width x depth).
