Condition / Notes: This is the thirty-first volume in the University of Chicago's Oriental Institute Publications. Included in this The Mastaba of Mereruka: Part I. Chambers A 1-10 by the Sakkarah Expedition.
This vintage folio is bound in two-tone brown cloth, with stamped gilt lettering on the spine and a full-color pictorial pastedown on the front cover. The exterior shows minor edge wear, with moderate loss at the upper right corner of the front cover. There are scattered faint markings to the covers. The binding is sound. The pages show light age toning.
This work is profusely illustrated with 103 plates, some double-page and some in color. The full-color frontispiece depicts Mereruka issuing from the Kingdom of the Dead and entering his tomb.
