Description : A pair of Egyptian highly stylized ushabtis, Late Period, c. 664 - 30 BC, the first wood gessoed then painted with light blue and yellow alternating bands, facial details indicated in black. H: 2 3/8 in (6 cm) and 2 1/4 in (5.7 cm), the second carved from limestone and retained much of the original ochre pigment. L: 3 3/4 in (9.5 cm). Both are interesting types with light deposits.
