Description : Egypt, circa late period. An exceedingly rare linen wrapped mummified jackal. Though Egyptians mummified cats ad birds by the thousands the jackal was rarely afforded this 'honor'. Mummy is accompanied by an X-ray which show the well-preserved body of the animal. Custom display case suitable for wall hanging. A unique opportunity.
