This lot features an antique hand carved African maternity sculpture depicting a female figure kneeling on the ground holding a bowl below her breasts, and a child on her back. Both figures are adorned by facial ritual scarification and textured and stylized hair.
The measurements of the sculpture are approximately 13 x 4.5 x 7

Condition / Notes: The statue shows well, displaying minor surface marks consistent with its age. Additionally it has one medium sized crack in the base and leg of the figure that has been repaired, please see pictures for details.
