Six color plates from 'Views in Egypt, from the Original Drawings in the Possession of Sir Robert Ainslie Taken during His Embassy to Constantinople' by Luigi Mayer. Published by Thomas Bensley for R. Bowyer, London, 1801. Plates include: 1) Egyptian Dancing Girls. 2) A Amaluke Exercising. 3) An Egyptian Ball, at Ned Sili. 4) Egyptian Antiquities in the Vestibule of a Country House at Bulac. 5) A Colossal Sarcophagus at Cacamo in Caramania. 6) The Gate of Rosetta in Alexandria. Smallest print measures 17.75-in. x 12.25-in., largest print measures 18.5-in. x 12.5-in. All unframed, loose and not mounted or glued down.
