Description : Egypt, Late period, ca. 712-332 BCE. A set of 6 Egyptian blue faience amulets of the Late Period. The first, a statuette of Bastet, seated, with a loop on the back for hanging, with 3 small figures of the god Bes, protector of children. Finally, a small faience wedjat eye and unknown geometric figure. 3/4T for largest. Provenance: ex-Adeon Gallery, Chicago.
