Description : Africa, 20th Century. A pair of wooden pulleys, one of light wood, the other of dark. Light wood has finely carved hair detail, long nose and closed eyes. Two holes for dowels on rectangular receptor arms. Dark wood figure has incised linear pattern, almost chevron, on chest and sides. Hole from top of head through piece for dowel or rope. both around 6H.
