Description : Hardwood, d. 83 cm. Disc-shaped, the mask consisting of three boards held together with leather straps, deep oval shape on the back for the face of the mask wearer. Wooden ground covered with reddish brown mat paint, geometric motif carved in low relief with crusty black and white pigment. Centrally abstracted face with circular eyes, small round mouth, pointed teeth, concentric circles with triangular motif around the face, leather bands around the edge of the mask and on the edges of the boards as part of the design, handle at the bottom centre.
