Description : This beautiful piece was carved from wood by the Krahn people in Africa in the mid to late 20th century. Piece has moderate wear and signs of use, with cracking and some signs of previous repairs. Piece is in overall good condition for its age. Does not include stand. Measures approximately 12 x 8 x 7 with a total weight of 4 lbs. Provenance: These pieces were collected over a period of several decades out of collections from America and throughout Europe, including France, Germany, Belgium, and Amsterdam beginning in the early 1960s. The items in this collection have been identified by George Mack, former director of the Arizona African Art Museum.
