This is the rating and price for Head Of The Falcon God Horus

Description : Head of the falcon-god Horus, Egypt, Late New Kingdom, Late Antiquity, 664-332 BC. Granite. Damage due to the passage of time. Provenance: Former Peter Karl collection, acquired from Wallis Antiquities, Canada. Private Spanish collection. Measurements: 15 x 13 x 11.5 cm. Fragment of granite that conserves the carving in relief, showing the face of a falcon, made up of the beak and the two eyes. The finish on the lower part indicates that it was probably a larger sculpture, probably representing the whole animal. As it is a falcon, it is clear that it is a representation of the god Horus. One of the most important ancient Egyptian deities who fulfilled many functions, especially as a god of royalty and the sky. He was worshipped from at least late prehistoric Egypt to the Ptolemaic Kingdom and Roman Egypt. Different forms of Horus are recorded in history, and Egyptologists treat them as distinct gods. These various forms may be different manifestations of the same deity emphasising certain attributes or syncretic relationships, not necessarily in opposition but complementary to each other, in keeping with the way the ancient Egyptians viewed the multiple facets of reality. He was most often depicted as a falcon, most likely a lanner falcon or a peregrine falcon, or as a falcon-headed man.
