Description : A GROUP OF FOUR EAST AFRICAN TRIBAL SPEARS, POSSIBLY MAASAI PEOPLES, MID 20TH CENTURY, two Maasai spears with traditional willow leaf form blade spear heads centering a median ridge, on an elongated conical ferrule on light wood poles ending in pointed bases with blackened burn residue, the shortest total length: 73 1/2, the longest total length: 77 5/8, a tall spear with a short willow leaf form blade head centering a median ridge and traces of black oxidation, length: 9 1/4, on an elongated conical ferrule tightly fitted on a light wood pole (cracked) and ending in a similarly tightly fitted conical ferrule continuing to a spike, total length: 89, a Maasai peoples sword form spear, with an elongated spatula form blade head centering a median ridge flanked by black oxidation ending in a flaring rounded shovel form base, length: 22 1/4, fitted on a wood pole ending in a pointed base, total length: 54 1/8.
