Description : comprising a terracotta toy in the form of two animals pulling a wheeled cart, with remains of white and red painted decoration, a hand-modeled pottery jar of ovoid form with pointed base and contoured rim, a redware jar of broad globular form covered in a burnished red slip, a redware bowl of conical form with footring, a bronze arrowhead, and three stone spherical pestles.
PROVENANCE
The labels read Ramesseion, Fev. 1888, on the toy, Pyramide d'Abouroach, Mars 1888, on the ovoid jar, Tell-el. Yahoudi près Chibin-el-Kanater, trouvé à côté du sarcophage en terre-cuite, Fouilles Naville, Mars 1887, on the arrowhead, Giseh, provenant fouilles des tombes derrière la Grande Pyramide, 9 Fev. 1913, on two of the pestles, and Bubastis, Mars 1888, on the remaining pestle. In addition, a label inside the ovoid jar, along with a cache of fiber, reads Egypte, Vase trouvé à la pyramide d'Abou-roach, Mars 1888, vu par Schlimann [probably Heinrich Schliemann] au Caire qui l'a déclaré préhistorique.
