(2), one shows a large flan clip at 10:00 on the reverse that extends to the upper portion of the obverse, otherwise well detailed, the second example is somewhat porous and shows ample detail, Byzantium, Anastasius, Gold Tremissis, 491-518 A.D., well centered but showing a few light scratches to the right of the bust and a right angle mark on the lower right side of the obverse, otherwise, original appearing surfaces, and a group of miscellaneous ancients (21 coins) including: Phoenicia, Sidon, Baalshallim II AR Double Shekel, ca. 386-372 B.C., a few marks and scratches, Ptolemaic Egypt, Ptolemy I, AR Tetradrachm, 305-283 B.C., surface corrosion, Sasanian Drachms (3), Tarentum, Calabria AR Drachm, notable flan porosity and corrosion, and Roman Republican and Imperial coins of Caesar, 15 coins in this unattributed group. An interesting group of ancient coins for the collector who is research-oriented. Total: 24 coins in lot.
