Description : FOUR HANDCRAFTED FOLK ART KNIVES BY THE PEDDLER : These fascinating one of a kind knives were purchased directly from The Peddler craftsman himself. The artist was known only as The Peddler in Kingston, NY in the 1990’s. All knives are hand forged of various metals and found jaw bones. The leather sheaths are handmade with unusual designs. All blades are in bowie knives. The smallest knife is carved with a skull on the handle and the sheath is tooled with a snake on the leather. The three larger knives have handles formed from jawbones. Sheath designs on the jawbone knives include spirals at the top, snakes, and a zig zag pattern. One knife has a groove running down the spine of the blade. 12 x 2 1/4 There are additional pictures of this item on our .
