Description : Egypt, Third Intermediate, 21st to 22nd Dynasty, ca. 1069 to 715 BCE. A turquoise blue faience ushabti, standing mummiform with one inscribed vertical column in dark purplish black ink for Harsiese - an ancient Egyptian theophoric name meaning Horus, son of Isis. In the middle of the ninth century BCE, during the Egyptian 22nd Dynasty, an individual named Harsiese held regal titles (pharaoh and high priest of Amun) in southern Egypt, while Osorkon II continued to reign in the north.
