Description : Egypt, Late Period, ca. 664 - 332 BCE. An excellent low faience cup, intended to hold makeup, such as the dominant Kohl black eye makeup, which though Egyptian, was found all over the ancient world. Flat bottom and slight rim. 1-3/4W x 7/8H. Provenance: Ex-Connell Collection, MA.
