Description : Ancient Egyptian necklace (museum exhibited) well defined amulets of black (possibly resin) on turquoise glazed faience: 7 Djed pillars,3 walking falcon-headed Khonsu wearing crescent moon, 1 walking jackal-headed Anubis & 2 Osiris strung together with carnelian beads and newer gold clasp at each end. SIZE: 17 3/4 long (45cm) ,amulets 1H,x 1/4-1/2. DATE: 600-300 BCE CONDITION: Excellent, no chips, cracks or repairs etc. EXHIBITED: Metropolitan Museum NY 1920-35 # 2152.20 (copy of Metropolitan Museum catalog card incl), ,Fine Art Museum Boston, 1945-60 # 153.45, Museum of Man California 1968 .
