Description : AN EGYPTIAN BRONZE FRAGMENTARY FIGURE OF AMUN Late Period, Circa 664 - 332 B.C. Depicted striding, with his left leg advanced, his left arm at his side, holding an ankh in his fist, the right up bent at the elbow, holding a sickle to his chest, wearing a pleated kilt, a broad collar and a false beard, all of which with incised detail, with remnants of his crown surviving, the incised detail extending across the back with a menat counterpoise, 14.3cm high, (16.5cm high) Provenance: German private collection, Munich, Ex Sotheby's, December 1996, lot 66, Private collection of a lady, Rome.
