Description : Ancient Egypt, New Kingdom Period, 19th Dynasty, reign of Rameses II, ca. 1279 to 1213 BCE. A fine hand-carved terracotta seal mold with a rough texture and orange color depicting the cartouche of the Pharaoh Rameses II (also Ramesses II, Ramses II, or Rameses the Great). The seal is ovoid in form with rounded sides, a planar bottom, and a recessed cavity with six hieroglyphic symbols in low relief. Custom museum-quality display stand and blue putty imprint included. Size: 1.125 W x 1.25 H (2.9 cm x 3.2 cm), 3.25 H (8.3 cm) on included custom stand.
