These plates depict three obelisks from Thebes (Luxor) covered in hieroglyphics from two different angles. The obelisks were drawn by engineers Michel Ange Lancret, Edme-Francois Jomard, and Jean-Baptiste Prosper Jollois, and engraved by Charlin. Condition: These two full-color engravings are well-preserved with mild foxing, mild creasing, and faint moisture markings along the bottom edge. The marginal text reads A. Vol. III.
