This lithograph, Dendera - Dec. 1838, is taken from David Roberts' Egypt & Nubia, perhaps his most well-known work. This image depicts the ruins of the temple at Dendera, half buried in the sands. Figures kneel and stand under the archway.
Limited to 250 hand-colored copies, this print was engraved by Louis Haghe and mounted on board as issued.

Condition / Notes: This antique lithograph, measuring approximately 13 1/4 x 9 1/2 (the mat measuring approximately 21 1/4 x 16 1/2), is clean and bright. The coloring is done in exquisite detail. The mat shows minor edge wear, light toning in the margins, and light scattered foxing at the foot.
