Description : CURR ( Edward M. ). Recollections of squatting in Victoria, then called the Port Phillip District (From 1841 to 1851). Curr's experiences of early squatting life and of the aborigines are very interesting He was at all times concerned to propitiate the natives (Bangerang Tribe) surrounding his properties, and made careful studies of their rites, and languages.
